rebranding The Film Angle podcast
in 2024, i undertook a rebranding project for The Film Angle podcast. the brief was relatively open, with the client welcoming a free creative approach to the rebrand. initial development started with some competitor research, assessment of the existing brand and establishing some parameters for what would be retained from the existing brand.
the client only wanted to carry yellow forward from their existing brand identity. instead of the lemon yellow utilised, i experimented with warmer tones, settling on a NYC taxi yellow as it felt fresh and fun. three initial routes were produced for the client to review, with one route being selected to develop further. from here, amendments were made and a full brand kit was produced with a new font, colours, additional assets and motion components produced in accordance.
additionally, a new theme song was produced and assets to help announce the launch of the new brand identity were produced
